Talk:Bengal fire stick
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There are a number of references on the web to something called "Bengal fire", I don't know what this is or how it is related. It may deserve an article of its own, for the time being though I have redirected "Bengal fire" to this article. --Jon186 02:02, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
To Jon: I have researched this topic heavily before writing. Since I am an experienced pyrotechnics professor at Princeton University, I know much about fire-related topics. --Applej12 18:30, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- That's great, I'm sure you'll be able to contribute a great deal to Wikipedia. I did a search on Google and it returned various pages about "bengal fire", but I'm starting to think that they are mostly just fireworks with the name inspired by the original "bengal fire stick". What do you think? --Jon186 19:09, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Jon: It is a match that burns for an extensive period of time. It is used to light fire works.
