Does anyone know enough information to know that the info regarding this 120-year-old-ian being alive (the second such person only to Jeanne Calment) is not just a rumor?? Georgia guy 18:55, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Don't the sources speak for themselves? Although it is arguable that the cuban government gains from advertisment of the health system.. He does have 1880 in his passport... many claims on Supercentenarian page are also just as watertight. - max rspct 19:03, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- The Supercentenarian page is for claims much more supported than Martinez, who belongs under Longevity myths. No credible documentation for his birthdate generated in his youth (as opposed to recently-created documents based on unsupported assertion) has ever been produced.--Louis Epstein/le@put.com/12.144.5.2 23:24, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
