Berbinzana

Berbinzana is a town and municipality located in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, northern Spain.
Berbinzana is a small village located en the autonomous community of Navarre, in northerm Spain. (If you are not Spanish, you will know Navarre through Pamplona and its "Sanfermines") Berbinzana is on the banks of a river, the "Arga", and surrounded by fertile fields. It favours that the biggest wealth is the agriculture. Moreover in Berbinzana exist an important biological variety with a large fauna and flora. It's important to add that Berbinzana is a village which has a deeply-rooted culture and faithful to its traditions, where the festivities are celebrated, like most of the village in Navarre, with the traditional red handkerchief. Nature: It could be said that Berbinzana is a typical exponent of the ecosystem that belongs to Mediterranean continental climate. It has warm summers and cold winters although it is very influenced by the Arga river, which tempers this situation and provides with a large fauna to this area. Culture: It has different associations that dedicate to promote culture activities. We can emphasize the recreational society of "San Isidro", with more than six hundred members, the young society of "La Unión", and its football club "El Injerto". Events: A good moment to enjoy visiting Berbinzana is in one of its numerous events. Here are some of the main holiday periods: - Asunción Fiesta: From 14th to 21th of August. It's the patron St. day and the main event in the village. - Angel Fiesta: the first of March. It's the small fiesta and lasts 4 days. - St Isidro: the 15th of May. It's the farmer festivity and the recreational society. - The Young Holiday: In the early days of December. It's organised by "La Unión"
The principal activities are: Festivals, runnings of bulls (Through the street), discos, firebulls and other spectacles.
