Berlin Lubecker Maschinenfabrik

Berlin Lubecker Maschinenfabrik was a manufacturer of rifles for the German Army from 1935 to 1945, the end of World War Two. From 1935 to 1941 K98k bolt-action rifles were manufactured using the German Army codes "S/237", "237" and "duv". From 1941 to 1945 the plant manufactured G41 and G/K43 semi-automatic rifles using the codes "duv" and "qve".
The plant is located along the eastern bank of the Trave River north of the old City of Lubeck, an island in the Trave River. It is currently being redeveloped as a hotel and conference center (2006).
A former DWM ammunition plant is located a few kilometers to the east, in the Lubeck suburb of Schlutup.
