Berra is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ferrara in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 km northeast of Bologna and about 30 km northeast of Ferrara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,696 and an area of 68.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Berra contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cologna and Serravalle.
Berra borders the following municipalities: Ariano nel Polesine, Codigoro, Copparo, Crespino, Jolanda di Savoia, Mesola, Papozze, Ro, Villanova Marchesana.
