Better than Heaven was artist Stacey Q's first album. Formerly SSQ, this was the first album that the same lineup of musicians released under the name Stacey Q.
The album was released in 1986, it gave Stacey and her bandmates two mainstream hits: "Two of Hearts" and "We Connect". Both songs were promoted in the sitcom The Facts of Life where Stacey Q guest starred as the character "Cinammon". Two of Hearts was the first song to be promoted on the sitcom. The song was a smash hit, skyrocketing to the top of the Billboards Hot 100 where it made it to number #3. "We Connect" also skyrocketed up the charts where it reached the Top 40, eventually peaking to number #23 on the charts. The album hit number 59 on the billboard 200.
