Bewbush is a neighbourhood of Crawley in West Sussex, England and is one of the town's 13 designated neighbourhoods. Bewbush is located in south west Crawley and is bordered by Broadfield to the south, Ifield to the north and Gossops Green to the north east.
Bewbush neighbourhood is a co-terminus with the local government ward of Bewbush in the Borough of Crawley. It is the 14th most deprived ward in West Sussex according to national indices of multiple deprivation (citation required).
The area was mainly built during the 1980s, with some building starting as early as 1978, and newer infill developments still taking place today. The area has mixed housing stock, which began as mainly council housing, but much of which has been bought by residents under the UK's Right to Buy Scheme.
The neighbourhood is served by two Primary schools, a local shopping parade, a Church of England church,an Elim Pentecostal Church, Public house and leisure centre. There is a Sure Start Children's Centre located adjacent to one of the primary schools and this is also home to the BASE Project, both organisations work with families and children in the area.
