[edit] Plot
The film is a send-up of numerous genres of films popular in the 1970s, from blaxploitation to Wuxia to the crime drama. It stars Shaggy 2 Dope, the protagonist, as Sugar Bear; a streetwise cop from San Francisco who speaks in rhyming couplets and whose name is always accompanied by a trumpet riff. The New York Chief of Police brings Sugar Bear to New York to take care of Big Baby Sweets (Violent J); a mob don who controls the entirety of the city's criminal underworld. With the "help" of the wildly inept patrolman Harry Cox (Harland Williams) - as well as some timely assistance by the ghost of Dolemite (despite the fact that Dolemite was not dead at the time) - Sugar Bear sets off to bring down Sweets's evil empire. This task is made rather more complicated by Sweets' entourage: his ineffectual right-hand men Big Stank (Jamie Madrox) and Li'l Poot (Monoxide), his personal security ninja Hack Benjamin (Jumpsteady), a pair of stealthy Magic Ninjas, and Cactus Sac (Mick Foley).
The film also sports numerous cameos from Psychopathic Records employees, such as manager Alex Abbiss, Myzery, Billy Bill, and more.
Both Violent J and Shaggy wore their signature face paint throughout the film.
Although designed specifically with Juggalos in mind, the film has also found an audience with fans of raunchy, offbeat humor. A second installment, rumored to be a prequel, named Big Money Rustlas, has not yet been released.

[edit] Trivia
- The number that flashes on the screen when Hazad is presenting his product was the previous ICP hotline phone number.
- During filming, funding ran out and Island refused to pay any more money for it. Violent J used $100,000 of his own money so that they could finish filming.
- Although Violent J wrote the script, almost all of his lines were improvised.
- According to the commentary on the DVD, neither Violent J nor Twiztid were in the room when Kayla Kleevage exposed herself. Her boyfriend made sure of it. The reactions on their faces are faked.
- The chant Majic Majic Ninjas, Whut! has been popular in the Juggalo community ever since, as well as Harland William's line, "Honk for Sugar."
- Violent J dyed his hair a different color for each scene he appeared in to match the clothing he was wearing during the scene.
- Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child's lines were also improvised.
