Bill Bolton was a candidate in the Democratic primary for governor of Georgia on July 18, 2006.

Bolton has three engineering degrees from Georgia Tech[1] and is currently the president of a computer and management service company.[citation needed]

Bolton ran for mayor of Marietta, Georgia in 2005 and garnered 22 percent of the vote with a low campaign budget.
