Bill Savage is a fictional character in 2000 AD.

In 1979 Bill Savage returned to 2000AD in "Disaster 1990", a prequel to Invasion showing Savage dealing with the consequences of a nuclear accident that causes the melting of the Arctic Ice Cap and a temporary rise of the coastline that floods southern England.

The story of Bill Savage's fight against the Volgans continued on in 2004 when 2000 AD published Savage: Taking Liberties. The story picks up 5 years after the Volgan invasion of Britain with Bill Savage returning to Britain to continue leading the resistance against the Volgans after spending time in Canada and the United States in getting American and Canadian government and military support for the British resistance as well as changing his face to resemble his brother, Jack Savage, to avoid being captured by the Volgans, as well as to fake his own death, with Jack switching his face for Bill's (Jack was suffering from lung cancer before his death).
