Biotica vid Åbo Akademi

The student's association Biotica vid Åbo Akademi r.f. - or just Biotica for short - is the students' association for students at Åbo Akademi University studying biochemistry or bioscience at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

Biotica was founded in spring 1977.
In 198? the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacy moved to its new location at the 3rd floor in Biocity, becoming a part of the growing Turku Bio-Valley (fi: Turun Biolaakso).
It's logo is a stylized tRNA molecule surrounded by a circle, inside of which the name of the association and the university it's associated with.
