The above image is claimed to be used under fair use for the following reasons:
- It is a historically significant photo of a famous individual.
- It is of much lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality).
- The photo is only being used for informational purposes.
- Its inclusion does not limit the copyright owners rights to sell the image.
- Note that as this is a pre-1903 image, while the lack of a source is unfortunate, it does not affect the fact that the image is an age to be obviously public domain and clearly usable here. -- Infrogmation 00:19, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
