Black Cherry is the title of Goldfrapp's second album, released April 28, 2003 (see 2003 in music) in the United Kingdom. It was produced by Goldfrapp, and received a positive reception from music critics, with London-based newspaper The Guardian, calling the album "an unexpected delight"^[1] and About.com stating: "it's the ultimate chillout pleasure".^[2] The album, written and produced by Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory was different from the band's previous album, Felt Mountain. Black Cherry had pronounced, groovy drum beats and a generally edgier, more hectic atmosphere. The album was also a minor chart success, peaking at number nineteen on the UK Albums Chart.

This album has been released with the Copy Control protection system in some regions.
