Black Vein Prophecy (ISBN 0-14-034057-2) is a single player roleplaying gamebook written by Paul Mason and Steve Williams, illustrated by Terry Oakes and originally published in 1990. It forms part of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone's Fighting Fantasy series, numbered 42 in the original Puffin printing and not yet included in the Wizard reissuing. Unusually, the book has several successful endings, although only one might be considered the perfect solution.
