Black Wizard Entertainment

Black Wizard Entertainment is an American-based entertainment company, with offices in Asbury Park, Neptune, and Ocean Township, NJ. It was founded in 2004 by producer/rapper Jason "J-Dub" Whitley and songwriter M.K. "Styles" Tsui as a hip hop and R&B record label. The group has since expanded the scope of its operations to include graphic design, apparel, video production, and advertising, among other products and services.

Whitley and Tsui founded the organization in an effort to gain exposure for New Jersey hip-hop artists, whom they perceived as being underrepresented in the music industry in relation to other American geographical areas (such as New York and Los Angeles).
As Whitley states on their official website, the group adopted the name "Black Wizard" because:
Production is like wizardry: it makes people happy, it makes people sad...it has a profound effect on people. [1]
