Blood Pressure Association
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Blood Pressure Association (or BPA) is a British charitable organisation, established in October 2000, that seeks to provide information and support to people with hypertension and to educate the general public about the importance of blood pressure to health. Every September the association sponsors "Know Your Numbers Week," when stations offering free blood pressure tests are set up at hospitals and pharmacies throughout the UK. It also publishes a quarterly magazine for members, Positive Pressure.
The BPA's patron is the broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough.
