[edit] Sea squirt blob
I've heard of this before, but it's getting bigger. On the seafloor somewhere south of Nova Scotia there's an agglomeration of sea squirts, or one big sea squirt, that's something like 200 sq km and getting bigger and is a threat to the local fishery. There's to be an item on GlobalTV's newscast tonight (Nov 25/06) so I'll try and stub it at least; sounds creepy, and more sign of weird changes in the oceans, like the "Dead Spot" in the North Pacific offshore from Oregon....Skookum1 00:13, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
