Founded in 1999 by Cory Bear and Liam Scanlan, located in Bellevue, Washington the company has built a reputation in the Enterprise Data Protection Management industry as being a quality software developer trusted by customers in the areas of Energy, Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Technology, Telecommunications and other markets. In 2005, the company shipped Bocada Enterprise 4 the seventh major version of its software. Three of the world's largest outsourced service providers (IBM, EDS and ACS) have standardized Enterprise Data Protection Management using Bocada.
