Talk:Body powder

[edit] POV check
This article is clearly a POV statement against talcum powder and an advertisement for the powders sold in the linked website. The article needs to be expanded to contain a more thorough discussion of the usage of different types of body powder. See also the page at talc. ♠DanMS 21:36, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
This post is completely false. Talc is a mineral and therefore a 'natural' ingredient. It is not, as the post claims, made from petroleum oil and thus a by-product of the oil industry. I think they are just trying to sell their 'natural' body powder by providing false information on this site.
In the old days, the makers of Talcum powder claimed that particles of rice powder would find their way into the pores and swell with heat and moisture, thereby clogging and enlarging them. Everybody has a marketing slant. --Saxophobia 09:22, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
