Hi, and welcome to wikipedia. Just thought I'd pop by to answer your question. Don't worry about insulting people! The best suggestion I can give, would be to take a look at the talkpage before you edit an article (other than to remove vandalism/ads/etc); if there's lots of discussion going on, you should probably look if someone has suggested/mentioned anything similar, and if you want to make a large edit, you should discuss it first.

When it comes to images, it's actually quite simple. Most of the goverment pictures are normally ok to upload, but pictures from private sites should be avoided unless they state that it is okay. If you are unsure of what lisence to use, choose "I do not know the lisence", or just ask another user.

Opps I am really sorry about that, looking through the pages there were pieces of subtle vanadlism that were being reverted back into the main article from previous reverts, I just picked up on this and thought you were inserting stuff in again. I noticed your comment on Wikipedia:Clueless newbies - I've had a look at your edits to that article and the above warning is certainly not justified, you were doing your best to remove vandalism, but by the look of the pig fest that page has been today, I would put it down to a simple mistake on Granwazir's part. You might wish to leave a message on Granswazzir's talk page and ask him to check your edits and remove the above message. Even your small contributions are very important! It's great that you want to get more involved, and there are a lot of ways you can do that. Take a look at Wikipedia:List of WikiProjects, which lists all the WikiProjects around Wikipedia. There is a wide range of topics in the Wikiprojects, so you can pretty much work on anything that interests you. Hi. Thanks for coming up with a bot, and I hope you don't mind my suggesting you somehow tweak it — it added a second wikilink for fictional character to a sentence that already had that link. I found this at Zombie (Marvel Comics). I've fixed the overlinkage, but you can find the Doublemint version :-) on the History page.
