Boevaya Oranisatsia (BO, or the Fighting Organization)
Within the Social Revolutionary Party was a terror sub-group that was given autonomy under the Party, Boevaya Oranisatsia (BO, or the Fighting Organization). It can be argued that whereas the NV (Narodnaya Volya) was more aligned with the educated Russian hierarchy, the BO appealed to a wider Russian audience. Within the revolutionary movement widespread dissent continued over the use of terror tactics, and with the emergence of the class struggle, terrorism as a weapon of the period became redundant.
