Bona Vista (charity)

Bona Vista is a non-profit rehabilitation center based in Howard and Miami County in Indiana that was founded in the 1960s as a developmental school. Since then, it has expanded into an agency that serves all of north central Indiana. Its services for children and adults include vocational and industrial services, job placement, therapies, supported living, and other programs.
Children's Services
Bona Vista offers a variety of needed programs and services for all children of all ages. Through our Keys for Kids Preschool all curriculums are developed by Indiana licensed teachers and instructional assistants. We also offer American Montessori classes through this facility. Our Early Head Start program meets and exceeds the governmental requirements placed on it. We are a First Steps provider and offer Early Intervention for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Through Positive Results Therapies, personalized care by licensed staff is provided in our therapies center or in the home. Free developmental screenings are offered four times a year in both Kokomo and Peru, Indiana. Our Child Care Solutions program is free for those parents that are searching for quality child care and provides information, training and resources to child care providers. The Kids Construction Zone enrichment program offers a variety of classes and learning experiences to all children ages 2 to 13.
Bona Vista Programs offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays and they may have difficulty with social and language, problematic behaviors, and building socially useful relationships and skills. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has been clinically proven to help.
Bona Vista Programs has served children of varying needs since 1958.

The Keys for Kids preschool is an innovative program specially designed to help unlock your child's possibilities. Developmental preschool programs focus on all aspects of your child's development. Our preschool programs are academic-based and designed to enhance your child's development through a variety of activities centered around a monthly theme.
Keys for Kids preschool is a progressive program that offers: Full-time nursing staff Secured entrances Therapy staff on-site, if needed Free developmental screenings offered four times per year to the community Professional teaching staff Potty training, if needed At Keys for Kids preschool they offer: Typical education preschool Special education preschool Full Day preschool American Montessori Academy Free Developmental Screenings
Pediatric Therapy Services
The licensed staff at Positive Results Therapies provides personalized treatment in our outpatient therapy center or in the home. Physical, occupational and
speech-language therapies are offered, as well as audiology services. Our therapists work in collaboration to provide the best possible care. Additionally, we provide free developmental screenings. Positive Results Therapies is a First Steps provider for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
At Positive Results Therapies, we take an interest in our community by providing seminars on many different topics. Some examples of topics include: developmental delays, gross motor delays, sensory integration, feeding intervention, autism disorders and delays as a result of premature birth.
