Borišov is a well-known mountain in the Greater Fatra Range in Slovakia measuring 1,508.5 m (4,949.1 ft). Its summit is deforested thus offering great views over many Slovak mountains. In the saddle beneath there is the Borišov Chalet, one of few real all-year open chalets in the Greater Fatra. Southern side of the mountain is one of the largest avalanche slopes in Slovakia. On the northern slope lies the large Borišov Nature Reserve protecting preserved pristine mountain forest.
