Botrychiaceae (moonwort family) is a family of ferns. The family includes the genus Botrychium, which in some treatments is broken into several more narrowly defined genera, Botrychium s.s., Botrypus, Japanobotrychium, and Sceptridium. Most recent fern classifications have taken a broad circumscription of Botrychium and include the genus in family Ophioglossaceae.
