Bottom line behaviour

Bottom line behavior is any sexual or emotional or physical act which once engaged in leads to loss of control of the addictive process.
There are warning signs sometimes called top lines or mid-lines which warn the addict that s/he may be engaging in behavior which may lead to loss of sobriety.
An example of bottom line behavior for a Sex Addict might be cruising the streets or looking at the covers of pornographic magazines. These behaviors can lead to loss of sobriety.

Bottomline behaviors can also refer to behaviors in the workplace that impact an organization's "profit or loss statement" often referred to as the bottomline. These can include conflicting work styles, ineffective communication, conflict, a lack of team work and other behaviors that negatively impact performance in the workplace.
