Box Grove

Box Grove, Ontario (Census Tract 5350400.01) (2006 Population 13,023 [1]) is a community in Markham, Ontario and undergoing a transformation from agricultural to residential use. The area's name likely is linked to the hamlet of Box Grove in West Sussex, England.
Box Grove is locate in the area around Ninth Line and 14th Avenue. Residential development began in the late 1990s and continues today. Resent development bills the area as prestigious residential community.
There are pockets of residential development near the former IBM golf course, but the eastern sections still have some farm land.

Most commuters in the area travel by car, there is limited bus service by York Region Transit. Highway 407 (Ontario) services the area from the Ninth Line interchange.
