Brad Wong (ブラッド･ウォン Buraddo Won?, derived from Chinese: 王 Cantonese: Wòng) is a fictional Chinese character in the Dead or Alive video game series.

One day, Brad's old drunken master Chen, great teacher of Zui Ba Xian Quan, says: "Bring me the legendary drink. The name is 'Genra'." "What is 'Genra'?", Brad asks himself, "It seems like a riddle." So Brad Wong begins his journey in search of 'Genra'. After three years of wandering, he finds himself in a fighting tournament.

Brad is still looking for the legendary drink Genra when he enters the fourth Dead or Alive tournament. During the third tournament he thought he had found it, but it turned out to be some sort of genetic monstrosity.
During his CGI ending scene, he had finally found the legendary drink, Genra, which gave him quite a trippy experience. It was not explained why the drink and the ninja-turned-monster share the same name.

Brad Wong seems to be characterized by his love of the drink as well as his overall nonchalant demeanor. He fights with honor and exhibits the spirit of a true martial artist in that he treats others with the respect they deserve, never talking down to an opponent, though of course, if attacked, he will defend himself.

His techniques are relatively simple to learn, but takes time to fully master. His style, the ancient form of Wushu, Zui Ba Xian Quan, or the Eight Spirits (or Gods) Drunken Fist has been featured in film, (Drunken Master, starring Jackie Chan) and other games. (Shun Di in Sega's Virtua Fighter, Bo Rai Cho from Midway's Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, and to a small extent Lei Wulong in the Tekken series). As his style suggests, Brad uses the Wushu style based off of the Eight Immortals, or gods, in Chinese legend. He incorporates the maneuvres and postures of Lu, the Drunkard With Internal Strength; Cripple Li, the Drunkard with the Powerful Right Leg; Fat Han, the Drunkard Holding a Large Pot in His Arms; Lan, the Drunkard With a Deadly Waist Attack; Chang, the Drunkard With Swift Double Kicks; Tso, the Drunkard With the Powerful Throat Lock; Flute Player Han, the Drunkard with Powerful Wrists; and Miss Ho; the Drunk Woman Flaunting Her Body. These "elements" from all eight Immortals' styles are combined to form a beautiful and effective fighting art.
He has a large array of techniques that can be used in a large variety of situations but his main strength is the "drunken" quality of his fighting style. Although not as effective against AI opponents, many human players (especially those newer to the game) find his attacks nearly impossible to defend, counter or prevent.
