Brahmanandam (born February 1, 1956 in Andhra Pradesh) is a popular Telugu film comedian-actor. He first started his career with popular Telugu director, Hasya Brahma Jandhyala. His impeccable comedy timing quickly took him to new heights and now is one of the most respectable comedians in the history of telugu cinema. he has also acted in many films in hindi and his next hindi film is in Untitled Sangeeth Sivan Project that is remake of Athadu His first silver screen appearance was in a comedy film starred by Rajendra Prasad called Aha na pelli anta
He was born in west Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
