Braithwaite

Braithwaite is a village in the northern Lake District. It lies just to the west of Keswick, and to the east of the Grisedale Pike ridge, at the approximate grid reference of NY231236.
The eastern end of the Whinlatter Pass road is in the village. The A66 passes Braithwaite, but doesn't enter the village.
Braithwaite is situated around Coledale Beck.
Before the line closed, the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway called at a station in Braithwaite.
