Bramson ORT College is an undergraduate college in New York City operated by the American branch of the Jewish charity World ORT. Its main campus is in Forest Hills, Queens, with a satellite campus in Brooklyn.

Bramson ORT College is a technical college under Jewish auspices in the Metropolitan New York area of the United States. Bramson ORT was established in 1942 to serve refugees and immigrants during World War II. It became a College in 1977 to provide quality technical postsecondary education and to meet the educational and career needs of the New York community.
Bramson ORT College is accredited by the Board of Regents of The University of the State of New York. All Associate Degree, Certificate, and Diploma programs are registered by the New York State Education Department. Bramson ORT College is governed by a Board of Trustees and is a not-for-profit educational institution.
Bramson ORT College offers higher education in a caring environment. The programs offered include Accounting, Business Management, Computer Information Systems, Electronics Technology, Medical Assistant, and Administrative Assistant.
The faculty and staff of Bramson ORT College have dedicated themselves to satisfying the ongoing educational and occupational needs of the students by preparing them for meaningful employment, community service, and personal growth.
Bramson ORT College maintains a relationship between coursework and the workplace through the College Business and Industry Advisory Council. Seminars, discussions, and video conferencing emphasize College ties with the business community. Students have the opportunity to gain actual work experience through internships and the use of modern College computer laboratories (Internet, Multimedia, Job Search).
The Bramson ORT Library Media Resource Center contains a variety of printed and on-line materials, with special emphasis given to the support of the curricula. A professional library staff offers assistance and guidance to students, and maintains an uptodate collection.
The Main Campus is located in Forest Hills, Queens - a vibrant community, easily accessible by public transportation and by automobile. Bramson ORT College has an extension center in Brooklyn. The College enjoys the benefits of the educational, business, scientific, industrial, and cultural communities of New York City.

World ORT (Organization for Educational Resource and Technological Training) is an international organization which strives to bring economic self-sufficiency to world Jewry. Since the establishment of the organization in 1880, ORT schools have provided vocational and technical education to more than two million people, enabling them to become productive and economically self-sufficient members of society. A non-profit organization, ORT is one of the largest non-government educational and training organizations in the world. ORT operates a worldwide network of schools and training centers in over 60 countries and serves more than 300,000 students.
In the United States, ORT is represented by members of Women’s American ORT, American ORT and ORT Operations USA and ORT America, Inc. ORT Operations USA oversees Bramson ORT College in New York, Los Angeles ORT Technical Institute, Zarem/Golde ORT Technical Institute in Chicago, Hermelin ORT Resource Center in Detroit, and other educational programs in Miami, Atlanta, and Cleveland.

Bramson ORT College is dedicated to providing each student with a college level education. Upon successful completion of a program, the student can seek a challenging employment opportunity in an established and/or emerging field of business technology or health service. Many of the Liberal Arts courses at the College are designed to foster a mutual understanding and relationship between culture and American society.
Bramson ORT College goals are to:
• Present students with an opportunity to achieve a quality education in a technical, business, or health service program of their choice.
• Prepare students for employment opportunities and equip them with the skills and knowledge required for career advancement.
• Provide students with the human relations skills and work habits necessary to function successfully in both their professional and personal lives.
• Integrate Liberal Arts courses that foster a lifelong interest in professional and humanistic learning into the program of study.
• Offer courses within the program of study that highlight history, politics, society, literature, philosophy, culture and tradition.
• Offer technical, business and health service programs that enable historically under-served populations, such as the educationally and the economically disadvantaged, to reach their educational and career objectives.

The College admits students with a high school diploma or an equivalency diploma who seek challenging careers in Accounting, Business Management, Computer Information Systems, Electronics Technology, Office Technology, Medical Assistant, and Administrative Assistant.
In order to be eligible for admission to Bramson ORT College a student must
• Be a high school graduate or equivalent, or demonstrate the ability to benefit from a college education as defined under federal regulations.
• Be a recognized candidate who can obtain a High School Equivalency Diploma based on Earned College Credit (Ability to Benefit). Achieve a passing score in the CPAt or CELSA test, approved by the Dept. of Education
• Take placement exams in English and Mathematics.
