Brandon School, Goleta, California

Brandon School is an elementary school in Goleta, California and is part of the Goleta Union School District.
It was originally opened in 1969, but closed in 1982 due to falling student numbers in the district. A pre-school was opened on the site in 1982, and in 1996 it was re-designated as a full school.
In 2005 the enrollment was 490, an increase of some 200 since another local school, El Rancho, was closed the previous year. After parents rejected a proposed move to the El Rancho site, construction of a larger multipurpose room for the school, expected to cost over USD $1 million, is a priority.
As of 2005, the school principal is Lynette Meyer.
