[edit] Story
The player controls Kyne, a fugitive scientist, framed for the crime of "genetic fraud". Kyne fled from Earth to escape the authorities, and journeys to the distant asteroid of Brataccas in search of evidence that will clear his name.
[edit] Critical reaction
The game received mixed reviews. Audiences generally liked its sophisticated setting and story and ambitious graphics (on the Amiga and Atari ST, the game ran in 4-color, 640x200 screenmode, a high resolution mode rarely used for games at the time), but criticized the extremely difficult game controls. One reviewer wrote, "Controlling Kyne reliably ... in a critical situation is nearly impossible."[2] Despite this criticism, the game is fondly remembered today by some fans, and enjoys a cult status.
[edit] Trivia
Cover art from the Brataccas box was used as the album cover for Uriah Heep's 2001 album Remasters: The Official Anthology.
