www.breezeworld.tk IRISH TEENAGERS,(LEONARD,JAMIE,SARAH,MICHAEL AND DAVID).THEY STEMED FROM A LOCAL YOUTH CLUB AT THE HEART OF THE NORTHSIDE OF CORK CITY,WHERE THEY CAME TOGETHER FOR A LOCAL YOUTH MUSIC PROJECT,THE BAND PERFECTED THEIR SKILLS AND THERE WAS A WONDERFUL ENERGY BETEWEEN THEM.SINCE THEN THEY HAVE WORKED WITH RENOWNED MUSICIANS SUCH AS HANK WILLIAMS,EDEL SULLIVAN AND ANN BURNS.THEY HAVE ALSO MADE SEVERAL APPEARANCES IN LOCAL AND NATIONAL PRESS IN IRELAND SUCH AS THE EVENING ECHO AND IN2 MAGAZINE WITH QUOTES SUCH AS "BREEZE SAVES THE DAY".ON THEIR FIRST EVER CONCERT THEY PLAYED A GREAT SET TO 2,200 PEOPLE FOLLOWING THEN THEY ALSO PLAYED A FREE SET TO OVER 300 PEOPLE AT THE GRANARY THEATHER CORK.THEY COMPOSE THIER OWN SONGS WHICH INCLUDE 'WE WILL NEVER SEE AGAIN','BEACH DANCE','THE BREEZE' AND 'WITHOUT YOU' WHICH HAVE RECIEVED EXCELLENT REVIEWES.SINCE SEPTEMBER 2005 THEY HAVE BEING WORKING IN STUDIOS WITH OTHER MUSICANS AND ARE ALSO IN THE PROCESS OF COMPOSING MORE MATERIAL.BREEZE HAVE ALSO AN OTHER MEMBER ONLY WEBSITE http://groups.msn.com/breeze-theband WHICH HAS MEMBERS WORLDWIDE.
Leonard Leonard Miller was one of the founding members of the band BREEZE and even thought up of the name.Previously to working with the other band members Leonard has done a lot of songwriting, he has also wrote some of BREEZE' songs including We Will Never See Again and Beach Dance and he has also co-written The Breeze.He has also written songs which are in the process of being produced which include You Make Me Lonely and also Sweeping The Floor.Before joing the group Breeze, Leonard has had some lessons in drumming which where he attended the Northside Music Project at the Sunbeam in Cork City.He has also did summer work as a special needs childs care assistant.He has a great passion for music and since being a member of Breeze he has expressed a lot of his talents in a wide range of areas.At the present moment he is studying computers at the Cork Institute Of Technology.His main aim is to progress his song writing skills and also to promote BREEZE.
David
David O' Shea was no stranger to the entertainment industry before he became a member of the band BREEZE, he was a performer in' THE CAT CLUB' of Cork since a very young age, he also had several national television appearances on national television including the popular kids show 'STREAM' on 'THE DEN'.He is one of the main guitar players in the band BREEZE and has also worked on songs such as 'We Will Never See Again'.His music experience also spans outside the group,being on the school choir.He is still at school at the moment,he is attendin an Gaelscoil(an all Irish speaking school) and he is tries to balance his time beteween school-work and the band .His ambition is to be recognised as a professional guitar player in the future and also to take the band to the next level.
Jamie Jamie is the youngest member of the band BREEZE but he has already done a lot a work in such a short space of time.Originally he had being getting private guitar lessons ever before he joined the band and he is also one of the main guitarists but he also specialises in other instruments.He has done the layout of The Song 'The Breeze' in which he cleverly attributed the words to go with band members personality and he also co-wrote the song to his credit.He has also done the backing vocals for the song 'Beach Dance', before working with Breeze Jamie was also getting music lessons in his primary school.At the moment Jamie is balancing his time beteween the band and school and his ambition is that to take the music experience to the fullest and to enjoy every last minute of It.
Sarah
Sarah is an active member of the band BREEZE and she is the only female of the group. Sarah has always had a keen interest in singing, but she claims however until she joined the band BREEZE she was too unconfident to express he music talent.So far Sarah sang in many of the Breeze songs including 'We Will Never See Again' and her voice has being described as different and soothing.She states that "being the only girl of the group has its advantages beacuse I get noticed more then the other lads".Sarah has clearly a unique talent and her voice is truely amazing.Many oppertunitys has arisen since she has joined the band BREEZE including performing in the popular musical 'Blood Brothers'.Sarah hopes that things with Breeze will reach the top 10 as soon as possible.
Micheal
Micheal joined the group BREEZE a little later than the other members.He is a fantastic guitar player and he is duely noted for doing the guitar on both 'We Will Never See Again' and his own penned song 'Without You (Sorry)'.He had a great intrest in doing song skits' ever before joining the rest of the group and one could say that his keen interest in song-writing has indeed stemed from his love of the skits.'Without You (Sorry)' is a very passonite song about a relationship in turmoil and with the lovely violin solo the song is put together beautifully.Since joining Breeze lots of things has turned up for MIcheal, and now he is a part-time guitar teacher.Micheal hopes that in the future he can progress in his song-writing and now sees music as a possible career move in the future.
