Broomiebar

Boomie's Bar, also known as Broomie Bar or Broomiebar, a bar which was the highlight in Greenville, Liberia during the 1960's and 1970's, and was famous for its live music, and late Saturday nights.
Broomie Bar was fully completed in the 1950's, and became most famous when local tribal leaders regularly met there to achieve a peaceful deal during the Sinoe County, Grand Gedeh County and Maryland border crisis, otherwise known as the Grebo War Global Security.
The Bar is highly decorated with unique cultural, and tribal figures which some locals see them as symbols of peace and prosperity to the whole country, that helped end the 7 years Liberian Civil War which erupted in late 1989.
