Brothers of the Occult Sisterhood

Brothers of the Occult Sisterhood are a modern psych folk band from New South Wales, Australia. They have released albums on underground labels such as Celebrate Psi Phenomenon, Musicyourmindwillloveyou, and Time-Lag.

BOTOS ( brothers .... etc ) played at TERRASTOCK 6, Providence, Rhode Island , in April 2006.

Until that time, the 'band' had been the sister/brother duo of  Michael and Kristina Donnelly. Live shows within Ausralia before then had included the extended 'collective' of MusicYourMindWillLoveYou (MYMWLY) members; which has in it - Ian McIntyre, Alex Leicht, Josie Rafftery, Steven Moller, Greg Charles, Joss Berrett. Nearly all of these members had been part of the Sydney 2005 shows with Birchville Cat Motel, Stumps, Sandoz Lab Technicians

The Terrastock performance included Jed Bindeman ( Heavy Winged), and Niwi (Mighty Acts Of God), Joss Berrett (Blonde Cobra,, 6majik9), Ian McIntyre(6majik9,ffehro,Blonde Cobra) and Michael Donnelly ( original BOTOS member, 6majik9, ffehro, terracid)

Releases up until 2007 are mainly/exclusively the brother/sister duo of the Donnelly's; but any releases from 2007-on will include the ongoin live band extension... Students Of Decay release has Greg Charles, Alex Leicht, Josie Raftery and the Foxglove/Digitalis subscription release for he 'Bottled Smoke' Festival includes Ian McIntyre.
