Bruce Porter Roberts
Biographical information: Born: New York State, October 27, 1919 Died: San Francisco, California, July 16, 1976 Education: University of Wisconsin, 1936-40; did not graduate. Served in U.S. Army during WWII Studied physics and journalism Occupations included: actor; made artificial gemstones; building contractor Wrote a political journal from 1968-1975, of which only a portion is known to exist. This portion is known as The Gemstone File.
Importance: Roberts wrote journal/diary/letters which have become known as "The Gemstone File". His writing is the only known source of a unique account of American History. Many of the details in his account have been verified and supported by authors including Stephanie Caruana, Gerald A. Carroll, Kenn Thomas, and "Richard Alan".
