[edit] Honours
The article says he earned a QBE. I don't know what this is supposed to be, but I doubt it's IBM's Query By Example, which is where the link goes now. I also don't know if Chevalier of Order of Meritand Légion d'honneur should point to the same place. --Scott Davis Talk 07:03, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
- Ruxton actually earned an Officer of the British Empire (OBE). The Q was a mistake or a misreading. Is Chevalier another name for the Légion d'honneur, then? It doesn't look like it. --EuropracBHIT 04:28, 1 December 2005 (UTC).
Found it! The Ordre National du Mérite is a lesser honour than the Légion d'honneur, so it's possible these should be swapped in order, depending on which level of each he was conferred. Chevalier is the lowest level, sort of like OBE. Then there are higher ones like CBE, KBE. Both French orders have five classes. Thanks. --Scott Davis Talk 12:39, 1 December 2005 (UTC)
