Buck Rogers was the first single released from British rock band Feeder's 2001 album "Echo Park". It reached #5 in the UK charts, the group's first top 10 single and their highest placed single ever until it was equalled in 2005 by "Tumble And Fall". The video featured the band appearing to emerge from an elephant. Frontman Grant Nicholas was quoted saying that the song was originally written for an American band, with producer Gil Norton convincing him not to part way with it. It touches on the theme of a relationship ending, while the character in the song is looking forward to the future. There is according to Grant, a comedy element involved.
It was performed by the band at the Live 8 concert in Edinburgh.
In November 2006, British DJ Meck released a remix, but feedback from Feeder's fanbase has been negative of late.[1]
