I have an interest in diplomatic and inter-governmental relations and the workings of the United Nations and other international groups committed to making this world a safer and more stable and sustainable place to live. I have been a member of Annesty International for 20 years and support many of Greenpeace's activities. I am opposed to naked nationalism that borders on racism and I am opposed to the fragmentation of the former soviet union. I speak a number of languages but none of them completely fluently.

I have contributed to Wikipedia for some time without an actual account, but took the plunge this year My interest is in articles that represent as truthfully as possible, respect diverging viewpoints and defending the right to state opinions that are not universally accepted. I would be considered a novice at formatting articles, but catches on with use of format codes.

I have a tremendous love for KOSOVO having known this place from a time when the thought of war and conflicts were beyond my wildest fears. To me it was always a place of peace that war visited upon. I have sad memories of young friends that should never have held a gun but still went off to the front line and never came back. These human losses can not be replaced. I'm old enugh to remember the days when the perverted things did not exist. If I contribute anything here I hope it is to heal some of the suffering on all parts and to seek first to understand and second to be understood
