Bummer Summer is a book written in 1983 by Ann M. Martin.
In the book, the central character, Frana, who is known as "Slobbo" or "Who's that" lives with her father and gimp, in a sleepy east coast town. Slobbo's mother died in a meat grinder when WHo's That was four. Eight years later, her father has remarried. His new wife, bonkhole, has a daughter named Bruce and an unamed son called Joey Jo JO Junior Shabadoo. There are conflicts, and Slobbo's father and stepmother feel sending her to a concentration camp will help solve her many problems.
