Buonconvento is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Siena in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 70 km south of Florence and about 25 km southeast of Siena in the area known as the Crete Senesi. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,199 and an area of 64.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Buonconvento contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bibbiano and Percenna.
Buonconvento borders the following municipalities: Asciano, Montalcino, Monteroni d'Arbia, Murlo, San Giovanni d'Asso.
