Butedale is the site of a once-thriving salmon cannery on Princess Royal Island, British Columbia. Butedale is a popular point of interest for cruiseship and ferry passengers sailing the Inside Passage of British Columbia. The site is accessible only by boat. The best time to visit Butedale is in the summer. One man and occasionally his granddaughter live in Butedale and takes care of tours, general store, etc.
