Butler High School (Pennsylvania)

Butler High School is located in Butler, Pennsylvania and is part of the Butler Area School District. The school is actually composed of the Butler Intermediate High School for grades 9-10, the Butler Junior High School for grades 7-8 and the Butler Senior High School for grades 11-12, The Butler Intermediate High School and The Butler Senior High School are both located on Fairground Hill just west of the city of Butler. Normally, "Butler High School" refers to the senior high. Each class averages about 600 students.
As of 2006, the school principal is Mr. Jeffery Schnur. Ms. Veronica Rozic and Mr. Brian McGill are the Assistant Principals. The mascot is a Golden Tornado that has been given the name "Tuffy".
