Buttapietra is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 110 km west of Venice and about 10 km southwest of Verona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,195 and an area of 17.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Buttapietra contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bovo and Marchesino e Settimo Gallese.
