Byron Stevenson was a Welsh international footballer. He played for Leeds United, Birmingham City and Bristol Rovers.

Stevenson progressed through the junior ranks at Leeds united and looked set to be a long-term replacement for Norman Hunter or Jack Charlton in the middle of the defence. However, he never really found himself a week-in, week-out position, playing at left and right back, in the centre of defence and also in midfield. He was well-established in the Welsh national side when he was sent off in an international in Turkey and was banned from European competitions for 4 years. In 1982 Stevenson moved to Birmingham in an exchange deal for striker Frank Worthington.
