Paštuni

Paštun su etničko-jezička skupina koja se uglavnom sastoji od istočnih iranskih naroda, čiji pripadnici prvenstveno žive na prostoru istočnog i južnog Avganistana i u pakistanskom Balučistanu. Paštune posebno karakterišu njihov domaći jezik, paštu, njihov moralni kod časti i kulture, poznat kao paštunwali, i njihova privrženost islamu. Procjenjuje se da danas živi oko 40 miliona Paštuna.
