CAF Super Cup
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The CAF Super Cup is an African football competition. It is a game between the reigning champions of the Confederation Cup and the Champions League. Starting in 1992, it was originally contested by the winners of African Cup of Champions Clubs (Champions League after 1997) and the African Cup Winners' Cup. In 2004 it changed to its current format. The Egyptian Al-Ahly, and Al -Zamalek are the only clubs succeeded to score 3 cups and keep a life time record.
The games are held in the second half of the season, usually in February or March.
