California Cricket Academy

The California Cricket Academy is a non-profit organization founded in Cupertino, California by Hemant and Kinjal Buch. In recent years, it has had up to 200 youth players aged 9 to 15.
The academy is famous for being one of the first youth cricket developments in the United States. It also held the first National Junior Cricket Tournament in the United States in June 2006, working with USACA.
The tournament included teams from all across the nation, with teams from as far as the East coast (Piscataway, New Jersey). It also had teams from Chicago and many other parts of the United States.
Participants in the academy have also been coached by famous people including Larry Gomes and Ajit Tendulkar, brother of famous cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Renowned wicket-keeper Farokh Engineer and Imran Khan have visited the academy.
