State Route 116 is a state highway in California, U.S. It runs from State Route 1 on the Pacific coast, near Jenner to U.S. Route 101, near Rohnert Park. It proceeds east along the Russian River from Highway 1 to Guerneville, turns to the south-east and thence through Sebastopol. After crossing the Laguna de Santa Rosa (the second largest wetland in Northern California) it interchanges with US Highway 101 near Rohnert Park. After crossing Highway 101, the alignment crosses the Sonoma Mountains directly above Tolay Lake and thence descends into the Sonoma Valley.
