California Stories Uncovered is a Polish post-rock band hailing from Tczew. Their musical style is characterised by lengthy instrumental pieces employing energetic interplay between two electric guitars and sudden changes of mood and tempo.

California Stories Uncovered was created by Mikołaj Motylski, Mateusz Szymański, Jakub Litwiński and Eugeniusz Suchowarow at the turn of 2005 in Tczew, Poland. Their career started with a performance at the Alternative Bands Review in Pelplin, Poland in October 2006, where they won Audience Award. Four months later they played a live gig at "Tromba" Club in Tczew. In 2006 they recorded their first demo which they published on official webpage as a free download. In December 2006 Aleksander Neumann joined the band, filling the lineup. California Stories Uncovered are currently working on their first EP, which is to be released between March and April 2007.
